Join us at Bridge House Equestrian one Monday and Sunday of the month for our Unaffliated dressage. Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary tests available. Run under BD rules with qualifiers for the South East Championships 2017 at Hickstead and Sunshine Tour Championships 2017 (Jan onwards).

'Circles Are Not Oval Shaped' Clinics
Venue: Bridge House Equestrian Centre
Riding and remembering a dressage test can be daunting enough as it is, but to lose marks because your 20m circle wasn’t a circle but more oval shaped or coming down the centre line was like watching Michael Flately performing River Dance on steroids, then maybe you need a helping hand and a little advice from someone who has seen % marks thrown away needlessly time and time again.
Yvonne is a well known and respected BD listed judge and the South East Regional Judges Representative, with many years experience and she has judged all levels and abilities; she is straight talking with a great sense of humour. Contrary to popular belief, all judges want you to do well and Yvonne’s no different. She believes, even if you’re not riding a big flashy warmblood, you can still boost your overall percentage by being prepared and riding an accurate test.
Learn how to ride an accurate 20, 15 or 10m circle, how to make sure you’re straight down the centre line, use your corners to set your horse up and balance him for the next movement, learn how to do the elusive ‘give and retake the reins’, how to establish a correct halt and salute, ask her what is meant by ‘one horse’s length’ or any other question that you’ve often wondered about, let her demystify some of the terms used and many more small but crucial elements that will increase your marks with little effort!
Clinic Dates 2018
Bridge House has indoor and outdoor schools so lessons are not weather dependant. Yvonne holds clinics every Monday (unless there is dressage running that day – see dressage schedule for dates) and occasional weekdays and weekend dates.

Yvonne is offering one hour sessions for £40 or a shared session (2 riders) for £20 each, or 1/2hr session for £20 (max 1). There are limited places so please book early.
